I have been writing books my entire life, and where most writers prefer the drafting stage, I have always thrived in editing. It is by far my favorite part of the publishing process. Feedback from editors has a way of sparking such a rush of inspiration and renewed excitement for a project.

That being said, I know how daunting the process can be. The initial pushback on your work can feel like a gut-punch before that inspiration kicks in. I will do all I can to soften that blow—I am on your side and want nothing more than to see your work reach its full potential!

I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from Medaille College, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude. I am a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and have taken their courses in editing.

I will look at the whole of the manuscript, including plot, pacing, character development, and structure. I will offer insight and suggestions on where to improve, as well as enthusiastic shouting about where things are done just right.

You will receive an in-depth editorial letter outlining my thoughts and suggestions, as well as in-text comments and highlights.
